This variety of Crape Myrtle is the only one with truly purple blooms. Large flower clusters bloom from early June until frost. Can be grown as a large shrub or pruned up into tree form. The bark is a beautiful smooth mottled grey that peels away to a dark reddish brown over the summer months.
