Open to the public and professional installers, Shades of Texas has grown to be the area’s largest full-service garden center (south of Interstate 10 East to West). Shades of Texas customers can literally drive through the entire 150-acre nursery. The roads between each of the 12 lots (some lots spanning six to ten rows) are wide enough to accommodate a 60 ft. long eighteen-wheeler. And, we invite all customers – retail consumers and professional landscapers – to drive thru to pick out the product that best suits their needs.
